I often find myself not
being able to mix with the people who are having a good time in a festive occasion.
At times like this, I feel that I am there at the same time as the others but
in a difference space.
Let Me In
is a series that began in 2011, and its purpose
is to convey such a feeling. A viewer stands in front of a door and hears
people talking and having a great time. As soon as the viewer opens the door,
the sound disappears and light comes on to show that the space is empty. When
the door automatically closes again, the light is turned off again and the
speaker plays the sound again.
